I worked with Jeff in the area of Royal Lifesaving Society, National Lifeguard Society instruction. Jeff was well suited to work in the field of lifesaving and he was constantly treating people in public.
One story he related to me years ago; he was waiting for a bus and a fellow bus rider had a medical emergency. He began treatment. Then the bus arrived and he was torn between continuing treatment and getting on the bus and getting to work on time. He stayed and assisted the person in need until the ambulance arrived. Needless to say, he was late for work that day.
Jeff exemplified the meaning of assisting those in need.
