Our condolences to our Auntie Cecile and cousins Eddie, Sandra, Jack and Diane and their families. Uncle Ted was a favourite- he had such a happy disposition- always smiling or telling a funny story. I have fond memories of him, particularly when I stayed for a week at the bakery at about 13 years old to help by babysitting with my cousin MaryAnn. We had to work but we had so much fun too. Thanks for the memory.

Hi aunt Cecile. Years ago, Hank, Gerry and I were driving back from a wedding in Estevan, Saskatchewan and we stopped at your bakery in Gladstone on the way back at some ungodly hour. You were kind enough to feed us bacon and eggs and Uncle Ted entertained us for the next few hours with his funny stories. I had such a great time that night and I have great memories of that evening. Such a hard working and funny man. He always visited my mom when you came out to Manitoba; very thoughtful. Please accept my condolences and I will miss him. Renee

Our family has such wonderful memories of living in Gladstone across from your family and of course spending time on the farm. I will always appreciate some of the lessons Ted taught us and giving us the opportunity to skate on the pond, ski doo in the fields, play in the hay bales and ride horses. Dear Cecile and Family, My family and I would like to send our sincere condolences to you all. Ted was a wonderfully loved Husband, Father, grandfather, brother, friend and Encourager. He sure had a great sense of humor as he was a live wire and wired that way for sure. I remember those visits Martin and I had with you both . Your home was always hospitable. ( which was a trait within the Traa Family ) I was very honored to have met your family ( through my marriage to Martin ). WE have fond memories of Ted and just want you to know that we are mindful of this delicate time of mourning for each of your loved ones . Just leaving you with a beautiful scripture from Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
