I'm so proud to have called Clara my sister inlaw for many years.
A kind sweet lady who will be missed by all family and friends.

Proud to have called Clara my sister in law for many years.
Clara was one of the sweetest , kindest lady I have known.
Always there to help her family members.

I am so happy she was able to come with Diane to my Aunties 100th Birthday celebration in this past October in Winnipeg.

Clara was a dear friend during our student nurse days at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg. One of our classmates described her as a "trailblazer" and she certainly exhibited that when she became the first student to get married during training, something that was absolutely prohibited until then - she was willing to give up her nursing dream for Hubert, but fought tooth and nail to be able to finish her training as well as get married. Thanks goodness the nursing school realized the province would be losing an awesome addition to the profession and agreed to let her complete her training. I had the honor of being one of the bridesmaids at their wedding. I lost touch with Clara after training as we both pursued our careers and our family responsibilities, but I know from reading other tributes she continued her unconditional caring of anyone who needed her. Sincere condolences to Hubert and family.

I want to share my fondest memories of my sister, Clara. When I became a single parent in 1975 to two daughters, Cyndy and Gloria who passed in December 21, 2020, Clara became my role model and mentor. She stepped immediately to assist me, especially in my finances. Every year at Christmas time she would pay for a round trip to Thompson, MB where her and her family resided. She would take my daughters shopping and bought them tons of new clothes, make-up, jewelry and many different items. She did not want my daughters to go without anything. When I needed her for advice or support, she was only a phone call away. I and Cyndy are going to miss her immensely and deeply thank her for her help.
Rest in Peace and love you Sister and Aunt.
