Bryan, Jennifer and Tyler. I am so sorry for your loss. Daphne was a wonderful woman and a dear friend. I have many, many memories of my long friendship with Daphne. I bought my first Irish Setter show dog from Daphne and it started me on 45 years of this crazy show dog journey. I used to come out to the house in Lockport once a month and Daphne expertly groomed my dogs and then made me a lunch of salmon sandwiches and homemade french fries. It was such a good time.
I remember phoning her when Crash was going in for Best in Show and she rushed to the show to watch him win. She was crying ringside. Such a memory. - I can still see her standing there so happy for Jenny and Crash.
In the last number of years, we would meet for breakfast and end of talking the entire day. Catching up on family and dogs past breakfast and then through lunch.
I will miss Daphne. Sending my love to all of you.
