I was saddened to learn of Gloria's passing. We worked together at Eaton's when we were both in high school and University. Gloria and I got to be very good friends. I have so many wonderful memories....we went on a Spring break trip to California together when we were in high school, she was my maid of honor at my wedding. We shared several birthday celebrations (hers on June 23, mine on June 27). Many memories of dancing the night away at socials and then going out for late night pizza after. Memories of our Folklorama adventures. We lost touch when I moved to Brandon, but I was always excited to see her on TV living her passion. She had a wonderful laugh and a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. Rest in peace, dear friend.
