Obituary of ANNE SZWARC
ANNE SZWARC
It is with deep sadness that the family of Anne Szwarc announces her passing on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 to join her beloved parents, Jozef and Aniela, sisters Krystyna (Frank) Partyka and Joan (Zbigniew) Hoszowski and brother Rev. Jacob Szwarc O.M.I.
Anne will be dearly missed. Her strength, courage and love will be forever remembered by her brothers Stanley (Diana) and Walter (Adele) Szwarc and sister Mary (Stanley) Kaszuba, numerous nieces and nephews with their families, as well as family and friends in Toronto, USA and Poland.
Anne spent most of her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended Holy Ghost School, St. Mary’s Academy and continued her education at the University of Manitoba where she attained her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees. Anne spent over thirty years teaching in the Winnipeg School Division.
Anne was a member of Holy Ghost Church. She was very active in parish life, serving in religious education and Eucharistic ministry. Anne's appreciation of many cultures directed her travels throughout Canada, to Europe, the United States of America and cruising the Mediterranean.
Anne will be remembered for her devotion to others especially her family. Her warm hospitality and generosity is remembered by family and friends. She was instrumental in maintaining close family ties. She organized numerous family events including her mother's birthday parties, family reunions and anniversary celebrations. She was always there to support our family.
Anne's life is a testament of God's love for others as she gave of herself in whatever capacity she could. We are all indebted to her for the extraordinary care she provided for our parents and our brother Reverend Fr. Jacob.
True Love is a gift of oneself
Heartfelt gratitude to Msgr. Stanley Jaworski, Oblate Fathers and all St. Boniface Hospital Doctors and staff for their spiritual and physical care
