Today I would like to honour a woman who made a big impact in my life, Mrs Ruby Plischke. I will miss you so much and love you so . Goodbye my friend till we meet again. You will always be in my heart and mind. My lady knight in shining armour who I met at the age of 14 with her twinkling eyes and the sweetest smile. We connected instantly and our friendship blossomed from a teacher to student relationship to what feels like a mother and daughter one. You were my coffee/lunch date from junior high until I had a family of my own. My text and phone mate. It will take awhile for me to get used to not to text or call you whenever I think of you or want to share something with you. I will miss your phone calls out of nowhere when I am at work, because you thought of me and just wanted to talk to me. You were there through my highs and lows, listening, encouraging, advicing and most of all not judging me. You became my childrens’ borrowed grandma attending a lot of their milestones in their lives. Gabrielle will miss you the most out of the three kids since she has grown so attached to her Grandma Ruby being there for her on every occasions of her life. Thank you for giving us the pleasure of sharing your life with me and my family. You’re gone but will never be forgotten. Rest now and no more pain. To Mr Plischke, Shanon, Daryl and family thank you for sharing your mom’s love and affection with my family. Our lives will no longer be the same without her in it. Please accept our deepest sympathy and know that she was well loved by us. I miss her so much it’s hard to say goodbye.
