She appears to have had a great affect on many people. I have ARKAN 101/390 in our home. I danced a laughed with Larisa for many years.

Dear Andrea, Larisa, Shawna, Daria, and all Family,
Your beloved mother Halia left her mark on all whom she met. She was gifted musically and shared her gift with great passion. We remember her fondly, teaching Bohdan, Taras, Evania and other children to sing at church concerts; she would sit at my piano and play beautifully while encouraging the children to sing along with her. Intermittently, pani Halia would share with them tidbits from Ukrainian history. Her bandura classes were a passion with my late father, Volodymyr, and he enjoyed crafting banduras for them. Your mother Halia was full of life, energy, passion and dedication and we are saddened by her loss. Our hearts go out to you in this time of grief and sadness. May God grant you all that you need as you journey through this emotionally difficult time. May God remember Halia in His Kingdom, and grant her peaceful rest with the saints. Vichna yiyi pam'yat'.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of the matriarch of your family! We feel your heartache...Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Halia inspired so many of us teenagers and pre teens in the 70's to reach for goals that we never imagined were possible. She was an amazing life force ,years ahead of her time. Our most creative teacher will be missed.
