He was honorably discharged in 1956. Dad met the love of his life, Shirley, in 1965. They got married in 1966 and proceeded to have 2 daughters and a son. Dad went to Red River College to become a mechanic. He worked hard his whole life, sometimes 2 - 3 jobs at a time. He was a man of many hats. Dad had strong faith and belief in family and friends and he was very proud of his Metis heritage. The family would like to thank homecare, palliative care and everyone involved in the care of Dad.
