To the Lavallee Family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of our Metis Veteran and Elder John Lavallee.
I reflect on a special memory from last year's Annual General Assembly where John was presented with the Order of the Sash. it was an Honour and Privilege to be in the room where he received a standing ovation and the respect of the moment of silence had defined the moment. may his legacy live on in the hearts he touched, i will remember you Sir not just on Remembrance Day but everyday. For you I wear my Poppy with Pride.
Rest easy Soldier, you have served your Country & Metis Nation with pride and determination.
