Obituary of CONNIE JEAN WEBER

CONNIE JEAN WEBER: NEE NEFF With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of or beloved Connie Jean on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Connie is survived by her soul mate Eddy, loving mother Elizabeth, father Cal, sister Joanne (Dan), daughter Shelby (David), son Ryan, step sons Tyler (Brittany), and Myles, nephew Damen, niece Kelsey (Norman), her beautiful grand babies Jayson, Canaan, and Daiera, aunts and uncles, cousins and her many friends. Connie had the biggest heart and the biggest smile. Connie was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Sask. After travelling across Canada for a while she finally settled in Winnipeg and made it her home. She loved her little house where she raised her two children Ryan, and Shelby, who were always in her heart. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Jayson, Canaan, and Daiera. She adored and loved every minute she spent with them, her best part was cuddling her little ones; she couldn’t get enough of them. The biggest part of Connie’s life was her mother Beth (Momma Bear), she would visit her as much as she could, she would often say “I need some momma time” and off she went to Moose Jaw to fill her heart back up. Connie was passionate about all she did; one of her passions was her work. She worked for 20 plus years at the West Kildonan Legion where she wore many hats over those years, she loved her job, she adored her staff, and all the executives she served over the years. Connie was a helper, she enjoyed helping anyone who asked, and she found nothing too menial. If she could help she did, and everyone got the same reply, “Glad I could help” along with a big smile. She enjoyed many a day with her kids at their trailer out in Hillside Beach, spending the day at the beach with family and friends. She often spoke of the good times they shared there; there were many a story to be told. Connie loved her soul mate Eddy, they were love birds, they enjoyed many days out at Lac Du Bonnet, where they made many new friends and enjoyed many a good time. Connie enjoyed playing crib, playing darts, dancing. And she loved Bon Jovi. Connie shared a special place with many of her children’s and step son’s friends who all loved and adored Connie to a point some thought of her as a second mother. She was always kind and would always have an ear to listen if you wanted to talk. Connie made many friends and she loved them all, she had something special that we all loved. Connie will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Our little angel had the biggest heart and because of her, we have two angels still with us today. In celebration of Connie’s life, a service will be held at the West Kildonan, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #30, 1748 Main Street on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connie’s memory to The Kidney Foundation Of Canada.
