it has been a year since my sister Connie has left this world and I still am having a very hard time carrying on with my life. she has always been the one person in my life that knows me and could always make me feel better, no matter what I was going through. I don't have her any more and I am so alone. Her soul mate moved on, I thought that he would be there for me, and I needed him so much. Eddy was always her Eddie, and I looked to having him with me in my time of sorrow, to help me. I don't understand why he would think that I wouldn't need him. It feels like I lost a brother in law as well. I have not coped very well and hope the pain will someday be less painful. I don't know how to talk to my niece either, I tried to carry on and move forward with her but it hurts me so much to be so sad, especially when she has kids to look after. She has to be strong and I am not, I don't want to be weak for her, but I am. this is my sad state of affairs. Life goes on for all, but not me. Maybe one day but not today.

I miss my sista so very much. I cannot even see a future without her. I do know that eventually I will carry on with my life, but it will never never ever be the same. I arrived back home in BC yesterday and woke up this morning with such sorrow, sadness and emptiness in my heart. I said in my farewell speech that I would cry when I need to, well today I need to. I do not understand why this had to happen to her. I hope I can find a reason, but today I see none. So I will just try to make it past today and continue my search for that reason. I loved her with all my heart and soul. Love you bunches Coni My angel

So sorry to hear of your loss of Connie. I'm sure she will be missed very much. My cousin is Connie's partner Eddy. I met Connie a few times at some family functions and she was such a nice person, very friendly and fit right in as part of our family. Just know that thinking of all the great memories you have of her will ease the sorrow of your loss.

Connie was all that is expressed. She will be impossible to replace at the West K Legion.
She loved teasing me and had a smile for everyone. I will take a while to no longer expect her to answer the phone or appear in the office behind her desk. She made the world a little better for her presence.

We are so very sad to hear of Connie's untimely passing. We will remember her as a very giving soul with a heart of gold. Connie loved spending time out at the lake with family and friends, she always had a smile for everyone.
Eddy was the love of her life and they shared much happiness together she cherished her time with Eddy deeply. Connie spoke often of her children and grandchildren she was so very proud of them and loved them dearly.
Because of her generous giving spirit and kindness she has given new life to others. We hope that the her loving nature and spirit will live on in the lives that she has saved.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time.
Connie will be greatly missed.
Love Colleen, Marcel, Rochelle, and Justin Huppe
