HELENA MROCZKO

December 28, 1929 – November 28, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of out aunt, Helena. She passed away peacefully at Holy Family Home.

She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, parents, siblings, nephew and niece. She is survived by two sisters in Poland and a number of relatives in Winnipeg, Ontario, and all over Europe.

She was born in Poland as one of eight children. She was a very active and independent lady. She loved gardening, sewing and cooking. While living in her house, she enjoyed hosting Christmas and Easter dinner for family, and later meeting for her birthday at a Chinese restaurant. She also loved to travel and organising for seniors trips to the casino in the USA. She also volunteered for many years at Holy Ghost Parish in Winnipeg.

Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with viewing starting at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
