PATRICIA LYNNE ZELEZEN

Patricia (Patsy) passed away peacefully, with family by her side on November 12, 2024 at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 76 years.

She was predeceased by her Father, Edward Irving, Mother Carolina Irving, brother-in-law Ron Lapointe.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her husband Alvis, children, Diane (Darcy), Jennifer (Jason), and Jeremy (Kristin). Grandchildren; Nolan, Jason, Devon, Justin, Noah, Matthew, Joshua, Mariah.

She also leaves her sisters, Carol (Wayne), and Marion, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Patsy was born and raised in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba. She went to Winnipeg Beach School where she made lifelong friends, followed by Gimli High School in Gimli Manitoba.

In 1971, she met the love of her life Alvis, married in 1974, and this past June celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Patsy loved going to various casinos, playing bingo and browsing (shopping) through stores. She loved travelling, including trips to Las Vegas, British Columbia, and more memorably a family road trip to Florida. She loved getting together with her lifelong childhood friends, and liked catching up with everyone at the annual Legion Tea in Winnipeg Beach.

The family would like to thank the home care nurses and the caring nurses in the palliative care ward at Riverview Health Centre.

A private celebration of life will be held for close family and friends at a later date.
