Obituary of SADIE KATHLEEN BOYNOWSKI
SADIE “SALLY” KATHLEEN BOYNOWSKI (nee Feschuk)
Sally passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on November 2, 2024 at Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 93 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Steve and Katie Feschuk, husband Alexander, son Claude, son-in-law Shane Keele, brother- in- law Emil Harik and nephew Wayne Harik.
Sally is lovingly remembered by her son Giles (Cathy), daughter Cheryl (Keith) grandchildren Jeremy, Jared, Michelle (Jeremy) Dan (Nipa), Tyler (Anghela) and Matthew (Natalie).
She also leaves her sister Eleanor Harik, and nephews Donald (Jeannie) Boynowski, Jerry (Candis) Harik, Alan Harik, Brian (Diane) Harik and niece Karen Harik.
Sally was born March 2, 1931 in Libau Manitoba and came to Winnipeg in 1948. She worked in a sewing factory and then Champs Chicken for 25 years. On September 22, 1951 she married Alexander at St. Ivan Suchavsky Cathedral.
She was an active member of The St. Ivan Suchavsky Cathedral perogy club, and loved singing in the church choir for many years.
Sally was an amazing mother! She loved working in the garden, and cooking her Ukrainian dishes which her family really enjoyed. Everything she lovingly made was always homemade and delicious!
The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at Holy Family Nursing Home unit 3A St. Anne’s for the loving and compassionate care she received during the 3 years she was a resident.
The funeral service will be held on Friday November 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
