Obituary of PHILLIP TRISTAN BILNY
With great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Phillip Bilny at age 24, who left us too soon.
Known for his adventurous spirit and a smile that could light up a room, Phillip brought a unique joy to everyone who knew him. He loved music, hanging out with his friends, fishing, biking through town, and scaling any structure he could find around Winnipeg. He was someone who loved finding "hole in the wall" restaurants to eat with a love for bold flavors and hot sauce. His talent for fixing things, passion for cooking, and even his famous off-key singing made him unforgettable. Phillip loved and truly valued his many friendships. Phillip was a devoted son and brother, the daily source of laughter, joy, and struggle for his mother. Though his time with us was brief, he filled it with laughter, adventure, and warmth. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Phillip is survived by his parents, Esther and Sergio Bilny, sister Jassmine Bilny, grandfather Ryszard Kwapinski, alongside many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Urszula Kwapinski and Maria Bilny, and his beloved cat Nibbles.
