Obituary of HENDRICK JOHN RYMARCZUK
With great sorrow and sadness, we announce the passing of Hendrick (Henry) Rymarczuk, October 27, 2024. The family wishes to extend their utmost appreciation to Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for the care that Henry received from Dr. Kevin Saunders, the B1 nurses, healthcare aids and all the staff.
In lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Henry can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or a charity of choice.
Henry is survived by his wife Danuta of 50 years, his children: Teresa/Mario, Barbara/Chris, Paul/Jenna and grandchildren Matteo, Milan and Camilla; as well as his sister-in-law, Jadwiga and her family, plus cousins in Winnipeg, B.C. and the US.
In 1954, Henry immigrated to Canada from England, to Camp Robinson in the north western Ontario. After a few years, the family moved to Winnipeg where he grew up. He met his wife in 1973 and in 1974 they started their family.
Henry worked for Environment Canada for 35 years and was known as “The Remarkable Rymarczuk”. When he retired, he joined the Wellness Institute, where he made many wonderful friends.
He adored his grandchildren and supported them in all of their activities. Henry always provided the best he could for his children and loved his wife dearly.
He will be forever missed.
