With tears in my eyes and sadness in my heart, I say goodbye to my dear friend Wally. Not only were we life long friends, Wally and I were room mates, band mates (Volya) and partners in the music man business. Wally was a groomsman in my wedding to Chrystia and I was one in his to Sandra. We played numerous weddings and Malankas in Winnipeg and travelled to festivals in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Dauphin, Thunderbay and even to Minneapolis. (thanks John and Mike for your hospitality). As music men, we played some epic socials and always had a blast. Hanging out at Pro Pub and Arlington Athletic Club, Wally and I made memories that last a lifetime.
My deepest condolences go out to Sandra, Stefan and Daria. I’m sure you all know Wally was a fantastic person and always greeted me “hey boychuck, how’s she goin’?” That I will miss most.
Rest in peace my brother. Meet you on the other side. Love you!
