It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ivone Ndayizeye on August 7, 2024 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 51.

Ivone is survived by her husband John Shinyira, children Benita Nduwamaria, Maria Itangishaka, Alexandre Niyonkuru, Selestin Niyongabo, John Peter Ishimwe, Nadiya Ndayizeye, as well as 10 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will take place on August 24, 2024 at 10:00 am at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
