Obituary of MARIA VERONIKA KLOS (nee Sliwinska)

With heavy hearts, we share the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on August 11, 2024 at the age of 95, with family by her side.

Maria was predeceased by her parents, infant daughter Jadwiga, her husband Michael and brothers Leopold, Wladyslaw and sister Paulina in Poland.

Maria leaves to cherish her memory daughters Elizabeth, Teresa (Bruno); son Ted (Elaine); grandchildren Melissa (Stephen), Christina (Conway), Ryan, Angela (Steve) and great-grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Kendra, Leanne and Julia.

Maria had a great love for her family and gave all of herself for them at all times with loving, endless, selfless energy and generosity. She had an amazing and unwavering faith and trust in God which gave her strength to consistently be extremely resourceful, talented and creative. She showed grace and perseverance in all she did. No task was too big or too small for her family. Words cannot express our appreciation and love we have for her.

We thank God for the wonderful years we had with our dearest, beautiful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed and, in our hearts, always.

Rosary will be said on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
