Obituary of JOSEPH JURAS

Dad passed away at Beacon Hill Lodge shortly after his 99th birthday. 

He was born in the Ukraine and came to Canada in his early twenties after WWll.

He made a life in Winnipeg where he met his wife Irene (who passed in 2010). 

They had 4 children, 3 still living. 

Dad worked hard and instilled a strong work ethic in his children, modeled resilience and had a good sense of humour. 

Dad lived independently until 90 when he moved to an assisted living facility and then this last year in a personal care home. 

Family would like to thank the numerous care workers and medical staff whose efforts helped maintain a quality of life over dad’s final years.
