My condolences to the family. I got to know Gerry at Central Park Condominium and he was always very kind and pleasant. We are grateful for his years of service on our Board of Directors.

I knew Gerry through work. He was equally comfortable talking politics, investments or sports (he remained a true blue Winnipeg booster). He was such a nice gentleman!!! I am truly saddened by his passing but know that he is now safe in the arms of Jesus

Condolences on this terrible loss. I knew Gerry for almost 20 years. He was a kind, gentle soul with a quiet sense of humour who had time for everyone. He could talk sports, politics, current events, community, or most any other topic brought up around him and was sharp as a tack. Always helpful, always compassionate, and always with a smile and a laugh. Every day he headed out on his 5:00 walk with a bag of vegetables for whatever critters he came across; often he didn't make it 20 feet before engaging with people on the street, just to chat and make their day a bit better. He always found the bright side of things. My heart is heavy, but I'm reminded that I'm a little better for having known him. Earth's a little less kind in your absence Gerry.
