DAVID GEORGE FURNESS

November 23, 1948 – July 14, 2024

It's with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of David George Furness on July 14, 2024.  He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.   

David was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Catherine Furness, and his brother James Furness. 

David is survived by his wife Philomena (nee MacIntyre), his children Andrea (Don Rempel), Ted (Wanda Lazar), Tracy-Anne (Jamie Weland), and Michael.   Grandchildren Scott, Kevin, Jack, Carter, Toni, Darci and great-grandchild Bentley. 

He also leaves behind his sisters Margaret Blacklock and Terry Glasgow, brother-in-law Edwin MacIntyre (Cecelia) and Christian Binder.  His nieces Katrina, Ramona, Christina, Theresa, and nephew John and families.   

In accordance with David’s wishes his life will be celebrated privately with his family and close friends.
