Obituary of ELIZABETH QUIZON PIANO
ELIZABETH QUIZON PIANO passed away peacefully with family on her side on June 29, 2024, at the age of 81 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred, her father, Abraham Magtanggol, and her mother, Constancia.
Elizabeth is lovingly remembered by her children: May (Manny), Fredel, and Jal (Marilyn) and grandchildren, Francis, Jamesz, and Ezekiel.She also leaves her brothers, James and Foster, and sisters, Evelyn and Lilian, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Elizabeth was born in Manila, Philippines, met and married her late husband Fred in Camarines Sur, Philippines, and worked as an English teacher at Camarines Sur National High School for thirty plus years until her retirement in 1999. She emigrated to Canada in 2006.
The family thanks the nurses and support staff at St. Joseph’s Residence who took care of mom while she was there. We also thank family and friends who have dedicated masses and prayers for her.
A private viewing will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024.
We invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life mass which will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon with Very Reverend Geoffrey Angeles at St. Mary’s Cathedral (353 St. Mary’s Avenue – the church requests that all guests use the Carlton Street entrance through the parking lot.)
Her ashes will be laid to rest in the Philippines beside her late husband at a later date.
