Obituary of ARMOND JAMES PAUL JOSEPH GAUTHIER
ARMOND JAMES PAUL JOSEPH GAUTHIER
(One That Flies with the Thunderbirds)
March 17, 1988 – June 22, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Armond “Ardy” on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Armond passed away peacefully surrounded by his family who all gently and lovingly spoke to him as he went on to the spirit world.
Armond is survived by his mother Chrissy and father Dean, his partner Numa, his siblings Chantel, Christian, Brandon and Kari; his brothers-in-law Cory and Kyle; nephews Cale, Kassius, Tyson and Jayden; nieces Harlow, Bailie and Nova; Nanny Maureen, Grandpa Roger, Grandma Kelly, numerous aunties Mel (predeceased), Giselle, Carol Lolo, Kimmy, Kym, Cynthia, Carrie, Cathy, Joelyn; uncles Army, Randy, Howie, Jamie and Grant, and numerous cousins with too many to name. Armond had a special relationship with cousin Joshua and cousin Keshia.
Armond was a special young man who had an aura around him and people of all ages were drawn to him. As a young baby, you could always find Ardy with his aunts, uncles and cousins who all doted on him. As he grew into a young man, he would also be around elders making them laugh, listening to the stories and making sure their needs were met.
His confidence and energy could be felt as he entered into any situation. His loving, caring manner was felt by all that he came into contact with. We will all miss his presence but will keep his energy and spirit with us.
Armond loved to be silly and bug his nieces and nephews. He loved to tease and be silly with his siblings like playing “Knock Knock, Ginger” at 5:00 a.m.
In the spring of 2023, Armond met Marsha while visiting Mom and Dad in Gimli. They had an instant connection and had a special bond. He would often stop by her work to buy her coffee and give his big healing hugs to her. He spoke very fondly of her. Marsha will miss him as he took a piece of her heart with him.
Armond traveled a lot during his young life, going on adventures since the age of 11 years old. He worked away from home for several years finally coming home in August 2023 to live near Mom, Dad, Sister, and his nieces and nephews.
You will be extremely missed by all that loved and knew you, Ardy. You made such an impression on everyone that you came into contact with. That impression will never be match. You were so special, my man, and took a piece of all of us when you left.
Goodnight, my man. I love you like you.
