Jim was born on June 1, 1931, to Mary and David Hilderman. He grew up in the North End and graduated from St. John's High School in 1949. Jim excelled in sports as a youth playing competitive football, hockey and soccer. He was a huge fan of the Jets and the Bombers. Jim's other interests included golfing, ten-pin bowling, fishing, dancing and music - especially songs from the Rat Pack and Michael Bublé. Jim was adventurous and loved to travel. He and Eileen took cruises to many destinations where they created amazing memories. They especially enjoyed their trips to China, Spain, Portugal and countries in the Caribbean.
