My Vovo, to you I return the same gracious and unconditional love you gave to me through the years you were an important part of my growth, and forever onward.
Early morning rides from dad to be dropped off at Vovo's for the day on weekends, and holidays were always my favorite. In Vovo's kitchen or in her garden were the places to be. (If you know, you know.) Some things will never be forgotten, such as her tremendous grape vine that made a gorgeous walk to her back door entrence, where she was always waiting with a smile, and usually soup or bakery buns, ready to welcome the family in... Or her old retro phone that she somehow still used in the 2000's. Still blows my mind.
For a little lady, she had the largest amout of love to give. I dont know where she fit it all. She wasnt a regular Vovo, she was a cool Vovo, swearing and throwing food in our faces to show love and a little sass.
Im so grateful to have shared such quality time with such a quality lady. I will forever be grateful for my Vovo.
Never forgotten, and always honored. Rest in peace, Vovo. I love you so much.
