It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd on April 18th 2024 at the St Boniface Hospital cardiac ward, Lloyd was 81 years old. We thank the many doctors and all the staff that cared for Lloyd while he was in the hospital.

Lloyd was born in Garson, Manitoba, where he went to school, had many friends and grew up with his brother in a loving family. He moved with his family to Winnipeg in 1960. Lloyd met Audrey on a blind date with friends and they married on Oct. 23rd, 1965. Lloyd and Audrey started their life together living on Scotia Street with their dog, Cindy. Friendships grew and all were warmly welcomed at their home. Lloyd and Audrey enjoyed helping out and visiting often at the Lahosky farm. For many years Lloyd worked for the CNR. Lloyd enjoyed going for walks with Audrey and cherished their time together. Lloyd loved nature and animals, he made many bird houses and feeders for the Lahosky farm and for their home in the city.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Walter Wozny. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife Audrey, and by his brother Leonard, and sister-in-law Heather. He will be remembered as the one and only fun-loving uncle by his nieces, Jennifer (Tom), Christine, Robyn, Laurel (Ira) and nephew, Paul (Leah) and their families. He will be remembered by his brother-in-law Jack (Bonnie) and by their many friends.

We will forever remember Lloyd for the good man he was, as he touched the hearts of many, always engaging with a smile and a twinkle in his eye as a son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin, and friend.
