Obituary of GEORGE WAYNE RUFF

It is with great sadness that the family announces George’s passing. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna, the love of his life.

George was a wonderful father, a proud grandfather and a loyal and caring friend. George had a wealth of knowledge, whether that was to fix a car, renovate a house, plant a garden or make pickles. If you needed help, he was there. George enjoyed spending time at his trailer in Beausejour in the summer, cooking, enjoying a drink with friends and spending time with family.

He will be missed by many, including his daughter Leanne (Murray) and his son, Lorin (April), his grandchildren Owen and Haley and many other family members and close friends. His pup, Sonia, will miss him too.

Special thanks to all the St. Boniface Cardiac doctors, aides, and nurses (Jason, Peter, and Danielle) who cared for George and supported us during this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George’s name to Winnipeg Humane Society or Calvary Place.
