My deepest condolences to Carol Anne Barker & the rest of the family on the passing of Dennis.
Carol Anne, I believe you two lit up each others lives in the past years. Every encounter & every moment in ones lives, no matter how long or short of time people have known each other, are all for a reason. Cherish the time you had with your love Dennis.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Turek family. I met Dennis several years ago when he joined the St. Paul Duffers golf group. We became golf partners/ buddies ever since he joined our foursome group. Once a week he would faithfully make the trip from Twin beaches to Winnipeg or other golf courses that the Duffers scheduled. I truly enjoyed his friendship and banter that went along with our golf game particularly when on occasions I would out drive him. I also became his golf ball spotter for several years until he got his cataract surgery. After his cataract surgery last year he dumped me. I will miss Dennis’s friendship and his quick wit.
REST IN PEACE BUD.

I am a former member of the TKOs band that played from 1971 to 1976. We got our start playing at the Holy Ghost Polish Club on Main & Mountain in Winnipeg. A highlight was performing at Dauphin's National Ukrainian Festival in 1973. Dennis was the constant and stabilizing force in the band, putting up with all our idiosyncrasies and bad tempers. My deepest condolences to the Turek family, esp. Walter and Elaine Turek, and to Carol Anne Barker.

I lived three houses from Dennis in our younger years and we hung out together constantly in our younger years went to Lord Nelson school from kindergarten to grade 6. We did everything together from building snow forts to street hockey. At about 13 years of age when we moved to junior high school at Sisler High we drifted apart and went our own ways. He was always a good buddy of mine and I thought of him many times over the years. I was shocked to hear of unfortunate passing but the memories I had with him will always be with me.
REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND

What a shock! We were neighbours for years at the Ramada SPI. We both left on March 10th and agreed to get together over the summer. I grew up in Warren and Twin Beaches was our place to go so we had some shared experiences. Sitting outside our rooms sharing drinks, jokes and stories. Good times We will miss his humour and easy going personality. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. So sad.

Paulette and I are without words at the passing of our good friend Dennis. Only a few short weeks ago, we shared a few days together and reminisced on stories (mostly true), good memories and more. I feel blessed to have spent that time with him. Godspeed Dennis.

I am so sorry to hear of Dennis’ passing. He was a great colleague. He made the days at SMP manageable, and was liked and respected by staff, students and parents. I will never forget his rendition of “Teddy Bear” at a staff retreat. Wishing the family courage and peace.

I was so shocked to hear the news of Dennis passing. We went to Sisler together and I was fortunate to be his date for grad. But no one could win his heart like Arlene did, his eyes sparkled when he said her name. I met him again in 2016 and told me about his life and loss of his wife ,and he was so proud of his children. A true family man. Rest in Peace my friend. My deepest sympathy to the family. Lorraine Krywy (Hallock)
