Sharon's passing makes me sad and I send condolences to her family. However, as I write this I am smiling. All the time I worked at SJR I loved my visits to the kitchen. She was a very good leader of her team. They respected her and they worked for her for a long time. I too have kept in occasional touch with her through social media. Yet I can still see her in my mind's eye, sitting in that little office in the kitchen surrounded by papers and filing cabinets, her door always open. All my visits are associated with laughter - she and the staff were like family. It is a tribute to her to find myself reading what other staff have written with such fondness and respect.
