June also leaves several cousins, nieces, and nephews all across Canada and the US. Also her extended family including the many that called her sister, Aunty, Grandma and most importantly Mom. Sorry we can’t name all of them because June touched so many and welcomed all into her heart.

June was born into the close Paris family of Truro Nova Scotia on “the Island.” June married the late Edward Harrington and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1956. She worked hard raising her large family. June went back to school and even got her license as a hairdresser.

As her children grew and brought their friends home, the “family” expanded as June opened her home to all.

June was totally invested in her very large family, loved her time with her friends playing cards and Mexican train.

A special thank you to the Dialysis Unit at the Seven Oaks Hospital for caring for June for 4 ½ years. Also the Respite team that did home care and the Health Science Center team.
