Dear Corliss & family
I am sending you our belated condolences after hearing about the loss of your husband, Lawrence.
Bernice informed me of his passing after talking to Shirley K.
Lawrence’s obituary tells a very interesting story of a wonderful man.
May all your loving memories from the past comfort you.
Sincerely with Sympathy
Jane & Gary Nickel

I have such vivid memories of Uncle Lawrence traveling back to the farm at Langenburg. He would fly from Winnipeg, so he would always give us a fore warning on his day of arrival. We would anxiously await for him to buzz the farm. This was our cue to drive over to the airstrip and pick them up. He would spend a couple of days picking choke cherries, which we helped him do. He would then load them up in the plane and head for home so he could start making wine with all those berries.

I had the privilege of spending time in San Miguel, Mexico with Lawrence and Corliss and they were great hosts. I will remember Lawrence as a quiet, kind and interesting man who lived a rich and full life. My condolences to Corliss and the family.
