Rosemarie Pososki (Heschuk)

1931-2024

Sadly, on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Concordia Place Care Home, our Mom, Rosemarie Pososki, passed away peacefully at 92 years of age.

Mom was born in Sclater, Manitoba on September 6, 1931. She was one of four children, born to John and Mary Heschuk, along with brothers Nick and Mike and sister Mary. They lived in various places in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Mom met our Dad, Fred Pososki, at church in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, and they married on August 15, 1953. Together they raised five children, Diane, Norine, Dave, Don and Rick.

Mom was a stay-at-home Mom for most of our childhood and loved cooking, preserving, gardening, music and dancing. Mom later went to work as a health care aide for many years at Park Manor Care Home and Bethania Care Home.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1981. She was also predeceased by her parents, brothers and sister and son-in-law Gordon Finney.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Diane (Wayne), Norine, Dave (Sam), Don (Darlene), Rick (Cathy). Her grandchildren: Bobbi-Lynn (Aaron), Karianne (Dan), Chris (Corri), Bryan (Cheryl), Craig (Jenny), Derek (Kendra), Joey (Chloe), Ashley (Ira), Christine (Corey), Nicole (Brent), David (Staci), Jessica and Kyle. Her great-granchildren: Rhyan, Kennedy, Brooklyn, Connor, Gracie, Kinsley, Oakley, Katrina, Kaydence, Benji, Ava, Jameson and Paxton.

A private family service will be held.

We will forever love and miss you, Mom. Our "Rose".
