LINDA FEDICK
Peacefully with her nieces Carol and Debbie by her side, Linda Ann Fedick (our Moody Blue) passed away at Health Sciences Centre on February 15, 2024 at the age of 70.
Linda was born July 4th, 1953 in Fisher Branch, Manitoba. She was a feisty, independent lady who lived life on her terms and wasn’t afraid to stand up for her beliefs. She loved life on the road and was so proud of her time as a long haul truck driver, despite a life changing accident, early in her career, that took her dream job from her. Linda was a lover of animals and spent many days saving stray cats and feeding squirrels in Kildonan Park. She loved music, and even though she couldn’t carry a tune, that never stopped her from strumming on a guitar, beating on the drums and getting up and dancing. Linda enjoyed spending time with her friend and sister in law Gloria (who predeceased her in 2022) and nieces and great nephews. She took great pleasure in winning at cards. She loved the beauty of her crystals and her jewellery were amongst her most treasured possessions.
Linda cared for her parents John and Anne as they aged and they predeceased her in 2001 and 2005. She is survived by her brothers Harry (Peggy) of Chilliwack BC, Terry (Melanie) of Calgary AB as well her nieces Carol (Wes) ,Debbie (Allan), Cara (Tom) of Phoeniz AZ and Emily of Calgary AB, great nephews Ryan (Kennedy), Reid and Jared (Kirsten). She was predeceased by her niece Lauren of Calgary, AB.
As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
We will miss you crazy Aunty Linda, rest in peace and TCB.
