Obituary of HELEN DVORSKI
HELEN DVORSKI
Peacefully with her family at her side, Helen passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on March 22, 2013 at Concordia Hospital.
Helen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Walter; mother-in-law, Stefica; brother, John (Cindy); sisters, Irene and Mary (Bill); sister-in-law Biserka (Cam); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Wladislaw and Jean; brother, Stan; father-in-law, Dragutin (Carl); and brother-in-law, Zlatko (John).
Prayers will be said on Monday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 2 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Croatian Church, 2688 Main Street with Rev. Fr. R. Polz as Celebrant. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Marinic, Chester Kazmirowich, John Krowiak, Ken Grezbeniak, Steven Jankac, Matt Mandzuk, Kaz Sawicz, and Ted Kroczak.
If so desired, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
