Obituary of CHARLIE LIU KUA

Charlie passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on January 18, 2024 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 76.

He was predeceased by his parents Kua Sing and Soledad Liu Kua.  He is survived by his loving wife Anita.  He will also be remembered by his brother Richard, sisters Loretta, Linda (Liong), Susie, Betty, Kitty plus 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Charlie was born and raised in Baguio City, Philippines.  Graduated with a Commerce degree from St. Louis University, he then worked at Metrobank, Philippines, where he met his wife, Anita.  As immigrants, they got married in Vancouver, BC and eventually moved to Winnipeg.  Charlie worked in various companies as a bookkeeper/accountant.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Boniface, Seven Oaks Hospitals and especially Health Sciences Centre who took very good care of him in his final moments.
