JAMES HUBER

August 14, 1932 – January 15, 2024

James Huber passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Grace Hospital, at the age of 91 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; grandson, Christian Maza; father, August; mother, Maria (nee. Steinhauer); sister, Martha; brothers, Carl and Dave.

James is survived by his daughter, Virginia.

James was born in Saskatchewan and lived on a farm near Flowing Well and Hodgelle, Saskatchewan. He met his wife in Ottawa while in the Airforce. James trained as an aircraft mechanic and served in the Special Services Unit.

The family especially thanks Luther Home and Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association or Siloam Mission.
