Edward James Politzer

March 9, 1936 – Dec 16, 2023

Ed was born in Winnipeg to Nellie and James Politzer, and was married in 1987 to Dr. Odarka Trosky (Hrycyna). He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Odarka, step-daughter Deanne (David) Wasylyshen, step grandchildren Kaira (Myles, great granddaughter Margot), and Derek (Jayde).

During his working career, Ed was well known for his electrical engineering skills as a supervisor on the DEW Line (Lady Franklin Point), developing maintenance programs for Xerox Inc., and a international packaging company in Texas. Upon returning to Winnipeg, he ventured into conducting land development projects and investments.

A private funeral has been held, with interment at Glen Eden’s Garden of Resurrection at a later date.
