Joe worked at Manitoba Hydro for more than 35 years. He was proud to be a lineman and forged many friendships over his career. Following retirement in 1997, Joe and Paulette enjoyed their summers camping in Lancaster, MN and winters in Weslaco, Texas.

Joe will be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to tell a good or a bad joke. His easy going and friendly nature lead him to forging many friendships in both Canada and the US. Joe loved to sing and entertained many through his love of Karaoke. He loved the company of others and the feeling was mutual.

The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care, compassion, and support of the doctors, nurses, and staff on 5 North at the Grace Hospital.

Cremation has taken place and to respect Joe’s wishes there will be no formal service.

A celebration of life and interment will take place at a later date.
