Obituary of JOZEF (JOSEPH) OGLOZA
JOZEF (JOSEPH) OGLOZA
Peacefully on March 14, 2013, Joseph left this world to take his rightful place in the kingdom of Heaven.
He was predeceased by his two wives, Anna in 1964 and Janina in 2011.
Joseph leaves behind his children Marian (Jack), Ed (Joan), George (Roma), Joe; grandchildren; his sister, Natalia, in Poland; brother-in-law Zdzislaw and wife Marianna.
From the time Papa arrived in Canada, he worked hard to provide for his family, taking any job that came along and he was never afraid of hard work. He was a handy man who could fix or build anything and was always called upon for his services by friends or neighbours. There was always a large circle of friends with whom there would be road trips and many a dinner party but the daily visits to the food court in Garden City Mall were always the best and he would come home with the latest gossip.
After the passing of his wife, Janina, Joseph moved into the Maples Personal Care Home. As difficult as it was to find himself a widower for the second time, he transitioned to his new surroundings with ease and was cared for with dignity and respect by the care workers and his children until his passing.
Rosary will be said on Monday, March 18 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
