Grandpa you were one of a kind, and will be missed dearly. We always knew we were welcome at your house. No need to call ahead, just show up and walk in. You would great us with a smile and warm hello. We are so incredibly blessed to have had you as long as we did. I am thankful that my kids each had a relationship with you.. what an incredible gift.
I can not help but marvel at how you were able to make each one of us feel important to you. There are SO MANY of us... yet I never doubted your love for me and my kids.
You will be missed terribly but I rest in the knowledge that we will meet again.
We love you so much, but I am certain that you knew that and so we move forward with no regrets. What more can we possibly ask for? Love, Hettie

We will miss you forever and a day.
