Obituary of MARGARET ELIZABETH SHAMAN

Margaret Elizabeth Shaman

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore.

Peggy is lovingly remembered by her children: Edward (Joyce), Phillip (Margaret), Michael (Gloria), grandchildren: James, Kirsten, Andrew, Michelle, Melanie, Preston, Tiffiny, and Tanya, as well as great grand children, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Peggy was born in Liverpool, England, served in the R.A.F., married Canadian soldier Ted, emigrated to Canada in 1945, quickly excelled and shared a love of Ukrainian cooking and catering.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB with reception to follow.
