HELEN SENESHEN
(nee. Soluk)
October 2, 1932 – October 5, 2023
With broken hearts we leave to mourn our mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma Helen Seneshen.
Helen was born on October 2, 1932 in Stead, MB and sadly left us on October 5, 2023 at the age of 91.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Morris, Robert (Cathie), daughters, Lynn and Bev (Perry). Grandchildren, Crystal (Jeremy), Brandy (Travis), Jennifer, Brooke, Sarah (Trevor), Alexander and her fifteen great-grandchildren.
Helen was predeceased by her son Jamie, parents Steven and Annie; brothers Pete and David; sisters Sally, Jean and Olga and great-grandson Tanner.
Helen’s faith was very important to her, she was a devoted Catholic. She loved to cook; she was an amazing cook! She loved her dogs, playing Bingo and listening to her Saturday Evening Ukraine Music and of course playing her Accordion. She was a very strong person, had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
Helen was an Elevator Operator at Eaton’s for 10 years and then worked at the Odd Fellow Home as a dietary aid for 25 years where she retired at the age of 65.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg with interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.
“You will always be in our hearts.”
