Obituary of BELINDA MICHELE SHEWCHUK

We are heartbroken that our beautiful daughter Belinda Shewchuk has passed away on September 27, 2023 at the young age of 52. 

She will be sadly missed by her mother Valerie Shewchuk and step-father Tim Neufeld.  She also leaves to mourn her brother Stephane McIntire and his family, her Auntie Gloria

Melnyk and cousins, Darolyn (Ian), Denise, (Duncan), Danny (Tracey) and Shaylynn. Belinda will be missed by her “Auntie Rosie” Manchal, Irena, Sherri, Ronick, Jeff and many more friends and acquaintances that she met along the way. 

She was pre-deceased by her Grandmother Dorothy and Step-grandfather Paul Chwaliboga, her uncles David and Donnie Shewchuk, and her uncle Dennis Melnyk.

She was employed in the retail sales industry for the past 37 years, last being manager of Laura Plus in Polo Park.  Her beautiful smile, warm personality won her many lasting relationships with clients and co-workers. She went out of her way to please.

Belinda’s health began to decline over the last year and she struggled with Psoriasis. She decided to quit her job in June to take time to look after herself.  She loved taking road trips to other provinces, photography, dining with her friends, and spending time at her camper in Sandy Hook, BBQing and visiting with her “mooder” and Tim.

Belinda loved nature, was an animal lover and tree hugger.  If anyone wishes they may make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of their choice in her memory.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Cher Paulson officiating.

Cremation has taken place.

Rest in Peace, Belinda, free of pain and responsibility.  You will be Missed!
