MURRAY LAWRENCE

Obituary of MURRAY ALLAN DAVID LAWRENCE

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Murray at age 72.

After a courageous 17 month battle, Murray passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 due to pancreatic cancer.

Murray was the greatest husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Marie, daughters Nancy, Crystal (Brad), granddaughters Kailee, Julie, Kaitlynn and Kinsley.

Murray was a member and past president of the Riverside Lions Club.

Murray loved being involved in sports. For many years he coached hockey, played baseball, golfed and his passion was curling. Even during his illness nothing slowed him down. He pushed through the pain and continued to curl.

This would have been his 52nd year as a member of the Nicolette Curling Club.

Murray was the biggest fan watching his kids and grandchildren play their sports. You could find him at the hockey or lacrosse rink or a baseball diamond cheering them on.

Murray loved spending time with family and friends around his pool in the summer.

As Murray would say, “Thanks for the Memories.”
