José Manuel da Costa Oliveira nasceu a 30 de agosto de 1951 na cidade de Ponta Delgada, Ilha de Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal, mas viveu, desde a sua infância, na Ilha Terceira, Acores, Portugal até ir para a cidade de Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada em 1994.

 

Bom Pai, bom Irmão e bom Amigo. Era fácil de gostar, pelo seu bom coração, bons princípios e educação.

 

Pai de Marta, Sandra e Luís Costa, irmão de Arthur Silva, cunhado de Sueli Silva e avô babado do Guilherme.

 

O José gostava de música. De uma gargalhada, de uma boa comida.

 

Era católico e espiritual. Respeitava todas as formas de vida.

 

Nos seus últimos anos de vida viveu no Luther Home, na cidade do Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada onde foi tratado como família.

 

A ele agradecemos bons princípios e bons conselhos. Agradecemos uma grande lição sobre resiliência e força.

José Manuel da Costa Oliveira was born on August 30th 1951 in the city of Ponta Delgada, Island of Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal but he lived, since early age, in Island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal until he moved to the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1994.

 

A good Father, Brother, and Friend. He was easy to love because of his good heart, good principles, and good manners.

 

Father of Marta, Sandra and Luís Costa, brother of Arthur Silva, brother-in-law of Sueli Silva and proud grandfather of Guilherme.

 

José loved music. A good laugh, and good food.

 

He was catholic and spiritual. Respected all forms of life.

 

In his last years he lived at Luther Home, in the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada where he was like family.

 

To him we thank good principles and good advices. We thank a huge lesson on resilience and strength.
