Glenn was born in Winnipeg, MB to George and Daisy (Violet) Gingell.

He grew up and attended school where he played football and lacrosse. He started his career as a Deisel Mechanic where he worked for many companies before settling in at Dabs Repair, where he worked for over 20 years.

He met his wife, Valerie and they started a family on Rebeck Road. After moving to the city, they missed the country air and moved to Dunning and settled there. His children began playing sports where he coached numerous lacrosse teams. He always pushed for what was right and loved a good joke. He loved being outside working on his yard. He loved his dogs who provided him companionship while working outside or just cuddling “watching” a movie.

After loosing his wife, Valerie in July 2022 from a short battle with cancer, he passed nearly a year later.

A light from this world has been put out.
