Obituary of PAULINE SHEWCHUK

It is with deep sadness that the family of Pauline (Paraska) Shewchuk announce her peaceful passing on August 2, 2023 at the age of 103, at St. Joseph’s Care Home in Winnipeg. Pauline will be fondly remembered and is survived by her daughter Verna Antonyshyn and Verna’s children Karen (Gary) Koralewicz and their children; Kevin (Brenda) Antonyshyn and their daughter Julia. Also, Pauline’s daughter-in-law Helen and family Connie (Wayne) Bay and their children Brandon and Marissa, Patricia Shewchuk and her daughter Delaney, Terry (Yvana) Shewchuk and their children Natalya and Nikolas, and Jimmy Shewchuk and his daughter Faryn. As well as Pauline’s daughter-in-law Alice Shewchuk.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband Patrick Shewchuk, her sons Alvin and Wesley along with an infant son, John. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings and her parents Steve and Zenia Todosichuk.

A family and friends prayer service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 7:00pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street Winnipeg. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 6594 Henderson Hwy, Gonor. Interment to follow in the church cemetery, Fr. Evan Maximiuk and Fr. Gene Maximiuk officiating.
