Born: January 3, 1959

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Leonard Molyneaux announce his passing.  Albert passed away with family by his side on June 29, 2023 in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 64.

Albert was predeceased by father Phillip John Leonard Molyneaux and mother Yvonne Marie Pelletier

Albert is survived by lifelong friend and caregiver Marc Julien.

Daughter Tina (Karl) Steppan of The Pas, MB.  Grandchildren Kelsey and Paige Steppan of Winnipeg, MB.

He also leaves behind his brother Patrick Molyneaux of Winnipeg, MB, Sisters Terri (Darryl) Kushniryk of Winnipeg, MB, Judy (Pete) Muller of Thunder Bay, ON, Darlene Molyneaux (Mike) of Winnipeg, MB. Nieces Theresa (Richard) Hawryluk, Charlene (Rob) Cosens, Angela (Keith) Christianson, Charity Molyneaux, Julie (Andy) Lemmetty. Nephews Bill Fuller, Daniel Julien, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Albert was born in The Pas, MB, and raised in Wanless, MB.  Albert loved the north and lived in many of its towns such as Cranberry Portage and Lynn Lake MB.  Albert spoke proudly of his time spent trapping and hunting and being in the bush. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he cherished his memories of Rocky Lake and Kum Back Cabins with his aunt and uncle and cousins.  After moving to Winnipeg, Albert took in countless concerts and events and loved listening to his favorite tunes and rocking out with his friends.  He dreamed of riding Harleys and flying with the eagles. We hope that it is what he is doing now.

The family would like to thank the countless nurses, doctors and hospital staff for their care and support in all these years and in the end for making him as comfortable as possible.

As per Albert’s wishes, cremation will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel in Winnipeg, MB.

No service will be held at this time.
